Faculty Bio:
Megan Fontenot is the VP of Operations at Integrity Urgent Care in Colorado Springs. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and then began her healthcare administration career in Family Practice. After spending ten-years working in Family Practice administration, she joined Integrity Urgent Care six-months after their first location opened in 2008. Integrity operates three locations and is slated to open two additional locations by December 2016. She facilitated the organization’s Joint Commission accreditation, successfully completing the first survey in 2011 and second survey in 2014. In addition, she obtained certification and accreditation for the organization through UCAOA. She is dedicated to ensuring patient safety within the Urgent Care setting; passionately focusing on designing workflows and policies to support her team and building a culture that fosters safety and a commitment to high quality patient care. Her focus and attention to the organization’s culture and employee engagement allows for Integrity Urgent Care’s mission to be carried out on a daily basis.
