Online Certified Medical Examiner Training approved by FMCSA
UCAOA is partnering with Concentra Health Services, Inc. to provide online access to their 12-hour Certified Medical Examiner Training course that will satisfy the requirements to sit for the National Certified Medical Examiner test. The online course is self-paced, allowing you to have access to the learning portal for a minimum of two years. UCAOA members receive a $50 discount off the list price of $350. At this time, the Concentra DOT course can only be completed on a PC, MAC's do not work.
With this curriculum, the FMSCA regulation course will educate medical examiners on multiple topics within 13 different training modules on the new FMSCA regulations.
Objectives
These high-quality training courses engage DOT medical examiners in an interactive and focused learning experience, and will help medical examiners become more knowledgeable about DOT regulations and driver medical and physical qualifications for safely operating commercial motor vehicles (CMV). The online course comes with a Reference Manual and a Sample Online Exam. All course work and Reference Manual and Practice test qualify for a total of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM that Concentra will administer. You will also receive your certificate of completion from Concentra, which you will need to take the exam. Please make sure you have access to a PC to take the course as it does not work on Mac Computers.
