Urgent care centers use a multitude of logs to keep track of everything from the return of a final radiology report to daily testing of AED equipment. These logs have proven so instrumental in the everyday operations of an urgent care center that UCA has decided to publish them as their own separate guidebook: The Essential Book of Logs.
Derived from the 2015 Policy and Procedure Manual, these sample logs were contributed by two UCAOA members -- Premier Health and DocNow Urgent Care. Each of them provides a unique perspective as to how to track and record the multitude of details that need to be recorded in a busy practice.
Reproduction of this material by purchasers of the UCAOA Essential Book of Logs and their staff is permitted for internal use within their organization and center(s). Any other use, duplication or distribution of this manual or the material contained herein require written approval of the Urgent Care Association of America. This material is for general reference purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Changes in applicable laws or regulations may require revisions.
