Course Description: In this lecture we will discuss sinusitis, bronchitis, pharyngitis, and all other -itis' that we commonly see in the urgent care setting. We will speak about diagnosing, including reviewing some clinical pearls. Clinical red flags for more severe conditions will be reviewed. Finally, we will have a vibrant open conversation, utilizing polling technology, regarding treatment of adults and children with infections in the urgent care setting.
Speaker: I am a 35 year old father of three, living in Rochester, NY. I work full-time at Rochester Regional Health Immediate Care. I enjoy all aspects of urgent care, especially sports medicine and psychiatric cases. In my spare time I enjoy playing violin, spending time with my family, and rooting for my favorite sports teams. I am eager to become more involved with UCAOA.
