Course Description:EKG interpretation is a key component of patient evaluation, especially in patients who present with symptoms suggestive of cardiovascular disease. In this session, cases will be used to develop a workflow for interpreting EKGs as well as looking at EKG diagnoses you do not want to miss in the Urgent Care setting.
Speaker: Lawrence Phillips, MD, is the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and the Medical Director of the Cardiology Faculty Group Practice at NYU Langone Health. He serves as the Governor of the Manhattan/Bronx Region of the American College of Physicians and previously served on the national board of directors of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a busy cardiology clinician and is invited to speak nationally and internationally on clinical cardiology including his research focus of cardiac imaging.
