Course Description:
Cannabis (or marijuana) has been recognized for its potential medicinal value for centuries, but, until recently, legal issues regarding its possession and sale have limited its use. As this is beginning to change, patients and clinicians have many questions about medical cannabis indications, safety, efficacy and dosing. Even for those not prescribing/certifying medical cannabis, clinicians need to have a good understanding of the many issues surrounding its use. Thinking about using your clinic to certify patients for medical cannabis? We will also discuss how you can legally certify patients and add an income stream to your clinic. Join Dr Rahul Khare, an expert who’s urgent care clinic has certified more patients than any other clinic in Illinois, for this informative presentation on this new and evolving subject.
