Course Description:
Epistaxis is a common urgent care complaint. While sometimes scary for patients due to the seemingly large amount of blood involved, many cases can be treated in the urgent care center. Learn about common causes of epistaxis, and the fastest and easiest ways to get them under control.
Speaker: William Gluckman, DO, MBA, FACEP
Dr Gluckman is residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the College of Urgent Care Medicine and has over 20 years of emergency and urgent care experience, starting his career in academic EM before transitioning to owning and operating FastER Urgent Care in Morris Plains, NJ. He has served previously as a member of the Board of Directors for the UCA and as a previous President of the Urgent Care College of Medicine, as well as the clinical content advisor. Dr Gluckman's medical interests include education, procedures, Pre-Hospital, Disaster, and Tactical Medicine.
With the limited free time he has, Dr Gluckman enjoys traveling, scuba diving/snorkeling and eating Brazilian BBQ.
