In 2010, Mike co-founded Immediate Clinic, a chain of Urgent Care, Primary Care, & Occupational Medicine clinics in Colorado and Washington. Mike was an early investor / Board Member at Docutap, a leading Urgent Care EMR & Practice Management SaaS company. As COO of Doctors Express, a national platform of Urgent Care clinics, Doctors Express grew to 70+ locations in 20+ states before being acquired by American Family Care in 2013. In 2016, the Washington clinics were acquired by MultiCare Health System, and the Colorado clinics were acquired by UC Health. Before Urgent Care, he spent 10 years with the Ensign Group leading operations in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Home Health & Hospice. Prior to Ensign, Mike worked at KPMG, LLP as a consultant / advisor in their Healthcare Practice. Mike Dalton is the Founder of Quixote Capital, investing & advising Healthcare, B2B, and Software / SaaS companies. Projects & investments include: Island Urgent Care, Multicare Health System, Therapydia Physical Therapy clinics, and other SaaS / healthcare related start-ups. Mike has been on the Board of Directors at UCA since 2017. He recently took over the CEO role at a 20 location Dental / Orthodontic DSO platform. Mike graduated from BYU with Honors: Bachelors in Accounting & Zoology and MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business. IronMan, deep snow, big waves, single track, adventure travel and #vanlife occupy his free time along with raising 6 children with his sweetheart Brynne (going steady for 21 years!).
